read it about 8 months ago or so.
Very indepth book. Has eyewitness accounts from General's down to the privates, accounts from both sides, from planning the charge to the retreat. There must be close to 175 eyewitness accounts, covering all parts of the charge, to all angles of the battle. Some maps. A brief synopsis is given about each account, who the writer was, unit, location during the battle, some are a little more in depth than that.
I enjoyed it. Some of the accounts seem very close to what others experienced, which is to be expected to some degree. If you enjoy reading about a battle that is seen from may different angles and perspectives, you will probably enjoy this one as well.
