Subject: RE: The Cranky Season

Message Detail:
I do about the same things. I do a lot of research and examining in Echoes of Glory and William C. Davis' books. Research and read all those CW sites that I've found during the spring and didn't have the time to read. This winter, I plan to make an oilcloth, some corp badges, and authenticize my CSA canteen. I closely examine my impression (camp and military) and find research supported ways to improve it for the spring. Do some writing for the unit newsletter. I usually do at least one school presentation too.

With reading though I eventually try to stay away from CW reading and focus on other types of books. When the season starts again, I will be more than motivated to read more CW stuff. I tend to change to western books and movies or Stephen King/Dean Koontz type stuff. This is a great time to re-bond with the family and broaden some horizons too. Coming back to CW-related stuff is that much better when you force yourself to stay away from it too.
