Next weekend I plan on going to my first reenactment!what is the proper thing to do as a spectator?Do they usualy charge a fee to watch? any sugestions at all about being a spectator?

The reenactment was great!It wasnt a major battle,but a skirmish.I had a front row seat close to the action.A Union Soldier died not far from me,right at the begining of the battle!The whole time he dint even flinch,I couldnt even see him breathing!I can see where it would be important to die in a comfortable position sence you may have to lay there a while!
The Canons were awsome!I had never heard one befor and was suprized how much smoke they put out.Giant smoke rings from the canons!
I walked around camp talking to some of the soldiers. I met President Davis and Lincoln.President Davis was drawing a much larger following than Lincoln.
There was a story teller in camp so I stoped and listened to some stories.I really enjoyed the period music being played by a lady with a banjo.Thre were many ladies in hoop skirts there too. Now Im ready to go to the big reenactment in Boscabel WI next summer!!!
