Subject: Sheridan monuments

Message Detail:
Friends,

I know that this off-topic here, but please indulge a temporary diversion.

I am trying to figure how many large monuments there are to Phil Sheridan around the country. I know of four: Sheridan Square in Greenwich Village, Sheridan Circle on Massachusetts Avenue, on Embassy Row in Washington, D.C., his hometown of Somerset, Ohio, and the one in front of the Ohio State House here in Columbus. Does anyone else know of any others?

Also, would one of our esteemed members from the Washington, D.C. area who might be willing to go and take some photos of the monument on Mass. Ave. please contact me?

Thanks, and now back to our regularly scheduled programming.....

Eric
